Hi, I'm Rita, the founder and formulator behind Rise & Shine Handcrafted Body Care. I'm a Colorado small-business owner with a curious mind, a love for creating, and a tendency to ask, “Can I make this better?”
What began with a passion for creating real old fashioned better for our skin soap grew into something much bigger as I became fascinated with ingredients, formulation, and what they can actually do for our skin. Today, I create everything from targeted facial skincare and luxurious body care to artisan soaps, baby care and men's grooming products.
I'm hands-on with every part of Rise & Shine—from developing and testing formulas to making products and choosing what earns a permanent place in the collection. I'm constantly learning, experimenting and refining because “good enough” has never really been my thing.
Rise & Shine is personal to me. I want to create products that feel special when you open them, luxurious when you use them, and are priced so you can actually enjoy them every day.
